What Happened After the Session
We ask everybody the same question six weeks after a build: what actually changed on the course? These are the replies, lightly trimmed for length and published with permission. The names are real and several of these people are in the shop most months.
Booked the driver session because I wanted a new one. Rowan measured everything, put my current head on a shaft two inches shorter and forty grams heavier, and told me to keep the money. Fairways went from four a round to nine. I have sent three people here since.

My three wedges had bounce numbers that were a complete accident. Teri took me out on the grass, made me hit the same pitch off two different lies, and the problem was obvious within ten shots. Chunked pitches basically stopped that month.

I am sixty-eight and I had been fighting a set built for a swing I had in my fifties. Graphite iron shafts at seventy grams, half an inch longer, softer tip. My six iron flies the way my seven used to. It felt like getting four years back.

The scorecard thing sounded like a gimmick until we did it. Turned out almost all my damage was on par fives from a hundred and eighty out, and the fix was replacing two long irons with a seven wood. Never would have guessed that on my own.

The Ones We Do Not Print
Not every session ends well. Two or three times a year somebody leaves disappointed, almost always because they arrived expecting twenty yards and left with a straighter ball flight and the same carry number. That is a mismatch of expectations rather than a fitting failure, and it is why the booking page asks what you are hoping for before you come in.
If a build leaves here and does not do what we said it would, bring it back. We will remeasure at no charge, and if we got it wrong we will rebuild it. That has happened eleven times since 2014, which we think is a more useful number than any five star average.
